What Are You Really Looking For In A Partner

Last week I posted a blog about my top 11 Dating Resolutions for 2011.  One of the resolutions got a lot of attention and lead to a lot of requests for a questionnaire to help get people thinking about what they really wanted in a partner.

I have been asked many times exactly what I am looking for in a man….Well that is the million dollar question isn’t it…

I need a man who is attractive that I feel an instant chemistry with.  He has to be exciting and adventurous and be able to keep up with my energy.  He must be affectionate and honest and always communicate with me about everything.  I can’t accept anyone that lies about anything for any reason or holds back on telling me things to “protect me”.  I need a man that shares my passion for volunteer work and charity fundraisers.  He must be able to socialize and be comfortable in social situations with having to cling to me.  I need someone who is organized and financially responsible.  I don’t want to have to take care of anyone but instead have a partner that works with me 50/50.  I am extremely passionate and I need someone who is equally as passionate.  I want someone who can express himself freely when it comes to sex, just like me.  I need someone who is self confident and takes pride in their appearance.  That means they must want to stay active and healthy and work alongside me at the gym or participating in sports.  I love learning.  I do as much as I can to keep my mind active and healthy.  I need a man who shares the same passion continuing education throughout life.  I never want to live paycheck to paycheck like my parents always did so I need someone with ambition that is willing to work hard to live a comfortable life.  Last, but certainly not least, I need a partner with good character that is willing to accept my daughter along with me.  She is #1 in my life and comes first no matter what.  Any man has to understand that and accept her into his life with an open heart.

Is all that really too much to ask????  I think not!!!
